"I was forced by the courts to come to LifeNet's chemical dependency program, but my decision to stay was one of the best things I have ever done." D.G.

" I wanted to take a moment of your time and thank you and all of the staff at LifeNet for the help and care you have extended to me.  You have been tireless in your efforts to find the right medication for me and have been extremely patient.  I am eternally grateful, for I don't know where I would be without your care.  I have been to other physicians and psychiatrists to whom I have paid large sums of money to and no where have I received the kind of personal care I have received at LifeNet."

"I also want to thank other staff members who have participated in my care.  From the General Manager, to the Receptionist, to the Nurses, my Counselor, Intake, and my Case Workers.  All have been generous with their time and efforts to make certain that I have received the care I needed."

"For me, it has been difficult to comprehend the charity you have extended to me, but I know I cannot survive without it.  The words thank you somehow seem inadequate, but I don't know what else to say.  So, Thank You." W. B.

"Before coming to LifeNet I wandered around aimlessly and my life had no direction. I had lost all hope. When I walked through the doors [at LifeNet] I was scared to death of the unknown. I was scared because I didn’t know how they would treat me, and what they would think of me. The people I encountered were friendly, courteous, caring, understanding, and encouraging. They made me feel like my mental illness wasn’t a bad thing or something to be ashamed of. They taught me it was just a part of my life and that I can live a happy normal life.

"When I first came here, I didn’t think I could get back out into the world after all the drinking and drugs. I didn’t think I could get a normal job. They taught me how to manage my mental illness as well as stay clean and sober. They gave me structure and guidance that enabled me to succeed. I now know I can enjoy life without drugs and alcohol. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to help me.

"Through the work program LifeNet offers I was connected with Fairweather where I am now a supervisor. They taught me how to problem solve and manage people.

"I look forward to my future with LifeNet as well as Fairweather. Thank you all for everything you do." P.P.
